Billy Reynolds McCarthy is a performing artist from the iwi of Ngā Puhi, Tainui, and Ngāti Tūwharetoa. He's found his life passion in the art of storytelling, specifically in the forms of theatre, Haka, screen, and spoken word poetry. He has starred in Evil Dead Rise, Tangata Pai, and spoken word theatre show I Was Born to Speak. Billy is a proud member of the spoken word group Rehekōrero who are both Word - The Front Line and Trans-Tasman Slam Champions.
